Roast Beef and Havarti on Rye


Sometimes the most simple meals are the most delicious  My family crafted these roast beef sandwiches after a trip to the farmers market and enjoyed them in front of the TV for a football filled Saturday.

Spread one side of rye bread with mayo and the other with horse radish. Place the bread on a pan dry side down and put a liberal amount of roast beef on one half and the havarti cheese on the other. Place in the oven with the broiler on until the cheese is bubbly. Put together the sandwich and finish by toasting each side to a light brown color. Slice and enjoy.
